LCOL Mary McSally, the highest ranking female pilot in the Air Force, blew the whistle recently on the latest scheme by the Pentagon to bend over backwards to support Islam. American servicewomen stationed in Saudi Arabia are forced to wear Muslim clothing when on liberty off-base. The order exceeds both Saudi's official guidelines for non-Muslims in country and the State Department's dress requirements for women in country. Saudi only requires women to wear loose-fitting, long pants or skirts and long sleeve blouses. But the service women are forced to don the whole black robes and veil of a faithful Muslim squaw. We say "squaw" because under Islam, women are worse than second-class citizens. They cannot inherit as much as a man, their testimony in court counts only half that of a man, and the Muslim religious police - a fixture in all Muslim countries - beat women in Saudi with canes if they don't like the way they are dressed, just as they do in all countries controlled by fundamentalist Muslim governments. The picture on their homepage shows what our servicewomen look like when they go on liberty. Five Republican Senators have called for a review of the policy. The larger concern, though, is that the actions of top military officers show they fail to recognize the danger Islam poses to the U.S. For years, Pentagon planners have recognized that cultural forces in Europe will lead Muslims to dominate the populations of Western European nations within a generation or two. This fact is openly taught at the National Defense University. Because of this trend, our military has adopted a policy of cooperation and appeasement with fundamentalist Muslims. Our largest military base in Europe - Camp Bondsteel in Bosnia - protects the fundamentalist government in Bosnia and supports the Muslim criminal elements in Albania and Kosovo that seized power through armed insurrection. The official insignia of the Chaplian Corps in all services have been stripped of the Christian cross and Jewish menorah. Muslim chaplains now exist in all services. Top defense officials like the Asst. SECDEF regularly speak at massive Muslim festivals - like the one marking the end of Ramadam - held in the Pentagon. Saudi Arabia openly runs Islamic schools in the United States - there is an "Islamic Saudi Academy" within just two miles of our headquarters here at CS. These schools teach fundamentalist Islam. The problem is that the doctrines of Islam are completely opposed to the Christian ideas on which our freedom and prosperity in the U.S. depend. For example, equality under the law does not exist in Islam. Not only women, but also all people who resist Islam are not entitled to protection under the law. Non-Muslims may have their property seized or may be killed or made slaves under Islamic law. Also, Islamic law does not allow the payment of interest, the foundation of capital markets on which the prosperity of the West - including the U.S. - depends. It is time that military professionals understood that the Constitution they have sworn to defend is based completely on Judeo-Christian ideas. The religious freedom guaranteed by the First Amendment of that Constitution does not give individuals the right to practice religions that call for other citizens to be killed, enslaved, or have their property confiscated. It is time we realized that the greatest threat to the United States are the future Muslim fundamentalists being educated right here. As one former Muslim now seeking political asylum in the U.S. told CS, "Saudi Arabia is twice laughing at the United States." |
